When should I book my hair and make up artist?

As soon as possible. I only take one wedding booking a day.  Please check my online booking system to see if I’m available on your big day. then message me through my contact form.

How do I pay a booking fee to secure my wedding date?

£50 booking fee can be paid through my online booking system.  To do this; Select ‘Wedding Booking’.  In notes please write: Address, Amount of people in your wedding party, Wedding start time’ then Pay your booking fee*.  You will automatically be sent a confirmation message.  I will send you a seperate final balance closer to the big day when you have final numbers.

*The booking fee paid is non refundable and will be deducted off the final balance due on the big day. If you cancel before your big day the deposit is non refundable.

Are booking fee’s refundable/transferrable?

No, booking fee’s are not refundable nor transferrable to cover new dates.

A booking fee secures the wedding date, blocking that dated off to many other clients. It also covers the cost of admin time to and from clients.

When do I pay my final balance?

On the big day by cash or bank transfer, whatever suits you best.

When should I have my trials?

Anytime that suits you and your wedding party. I would recommend at least 1 month before the wedding if not before that.

Where would trials take place?

At my home studio 46 Oakburn Walk, Jamestown, G83 9NJ or for larger parties I can travel to you.

How many guests for hair and make up can you do?

I’m happy to get started as early as you would like on the big day. It takes roughly 30/40 minutes for hair and 30/40 minutes for make up application.

So once you know what time your wedding will take place and the amount in your wedding party we’ll know what time I can start.

I already have a hair stylist booked would you be happy to do just make up?

Yes, sometimes with bigger wedding parties due to timing it’s better to do one or the other. Once I know your wedding start time and how many in your wedding party I can confirm the numbers I am able to do and help find you another artist to work along side me on the wedding day should we need one.

I won’t make it for a trial, will this be a problem?

If you can’t make a trial with myself I do recommend that you go and have a trial elsewhere to make sure you know what you want, get loads of photos from all angles as you want to make sure you LOVE your hair and make up from all angles!  Sometimes a trial also makes you realise what you don’t like. I can work from photos from your phone, internet, magazines. This is great for giving me an idea of what you like to save any confusion on the big day.

How far will you travel?

I am based in Balloch, Loch Lomond however I am happy to travel all over Scotland. There will be a travel charge anywhere outside the West Dunbartonshire area.  I can confirm this with a postcode.

How far in advance are you taking wedding bookings?

At the moment I’m taking wedding bookings for 2021 and 2022.

Terms and Conditions


(Weddings) Booking fee under ‘wedding booking’ can be paid through my online booking system you will receive an email confirmation of the booking fee payment. This will have my home address as the location, please ignore this, you will have written in the ‘notes’ section the location for the wedding day. I always travel out for wedding bookings.

Once I have received your booking fee, the date will be secured and you can rest assure that I will be there on your big day.

Wedding day booking fee’s are non refundable or transferable. This covers the cost of loss of earnings, admin time and ongoing business costs.

Trials are payable on the day by cash, bank transfer or I can take the rest of the payment through stripe (Same card you used for booking fee).

Wedding day payment is due on the day minus the booking fee. This can be paid by cash, bank transfer or by stripe online payment.

Booking fee’s for any other treatment (Excluding weddings) can be transferred to a new booking anytime before 48 hours before your appointment. If you change it within 48 hours the booking fee will cover the cost towards loss of earnings.

Changes to Booking

You can add to your wedding numbers for the big day until 24 hours before the booking. I will confirm start time once numbers are confirmed. There is a minimum of 3 people/services for the wedding day. If less on the day, the full payment for the confirmed numbers will be due.

If for any reason I can’t make your wedding date due to illness or any other reason, I will make sure that I have a replacement for you. (This has never happened in my 10 years of business, so please don’t worry, I just like to put your mind at ease, i’m in a group with many other hair/make up artists that specialise in bridal.)

Booking Fee

  • A £50 Booking Fee will be paid to secure your wedding date. This is a non-refundable non-transferable deposit. The remaining balance is due on the day.
  • A Booking Fee secures your wedding date, closing off that date to any other potential bridal parties. It also covers an Admin Fee and should the wedding be cancelled, it supports the business towards loss of earnings that day.

In Light of COVID-19

  • If the government guidelines restrict me from being able to carry out my service HAIR/MAKE UP I will transfer your Booking Fee to your new date minus a £15 Admin Fee.
  • New wedding dates will require you to secure a new date on my online booking system with the £50 booking fee.
  • If I am unavailable on your new wedding date, I will provide you with a list of recommended suppliers that I know are available on your big day. The Booking Fee is non-refundable as this is classed as a cancellation of service.
  • If there has been a price increase for your service since you made the initial booking, there will be a new invoice issued for increased prices (Price increases with inflation). 


  • Booking Fees are non-refundable or transferable for any other service should you cancel your wedding date.
